I had a lovely stay at Harbour Hotel Padstow. The newly renovated room I stayed in was beautifully decorated, reflecting a Hamptons beach style that I found stunning. I also enjoyed the hotel's prime location with wonderful views of the harbour. However, I did notice a bit of noise from the weather since my room faced the front, and I felt the full English breakfast should have been included in the room rate.

The room was beautifully decorated in a Hamptons beach style. It was comfortable and well-equipped, although I did find it a bit noisy at times due to the high position of the room facing the front.

The hotel featured good facilities, including a comfortable bar area for drinks, but I missed a more traditional dining room for meals.

5.0/10

I recently stayed at Harbour Hotel Padstow and was impressed by the modern coastal vibe, although there are still areas that could use improvement. The breakfast was really good with a variety of options, but some aspects of the service felt unrefined. The views over Padstow Harbour were stunning and the room was comfortable, though I did experience some minor plumbing issues that were swiftly handled by staff. Overall, it was a good stay, but there's still some room for enhancement.

Rooms

My room had a lovely decor with a comfy queen-sized bed and thoughtful touches like complimentary gin, but I faced plumbing issues that affected my experience.

While most staff were friendly and accommodating, I did encounter some inconsistency in service quality, particularly during my coffee experience which felt rushed.
Location

The location was fantastic, just a short walk from the harbor and close to Rick Stein's restaurant, making it easy to explore Padstow.
Dining

Breakfast was excellent with a great variety, but my dinner experience was a miss with a tough dish. Cocktails later were excellent though.
Facilities

Facilities were appealing, and the seating areas offered beautiful views, but I found the parking charges to be a bit on the high side.

My stay at Harbour Hotel Padstow was quite enjoyable, especially with its good breakfast offerings and stunning views over the harbor. However, I faced some issues with the slow service during dinner, which detracted from the overall experience. Additionally, the location was fantastic, being just a short walk from the harbor and local shops, but the parking was a bit of a challenge. Overall, I appreciated the newly refurbished decor and friendly staff, making it a nice trip. 🌊✨

I stayed in a lovely room that was newly refurbished, although it could have been a bit larger. Bedding was super comfortable, making for great sleep. I did notice the cupboard needed some cleaning, but the decor was beautifully done.
Service

The staff were warm and welcoming, enhancing my stay despite some hiccups in service speed, particularly during dinner. While breakfast on one day was chaotic, the service improved significantly the next day.
Location

The hotel is perfectly located just minutes from the harbor, which made exploring Padstow a breeze. Access to other attractions was convenient, though the limited parking posed a small inconvenience.

I enjoyed the food, especially the mussels and a variety of other dishes on the menu. However, the wait for dinner was lengthy and not ideal, and some orders were mixed up.

The ambiance of the hotel's public spaces was inviting, with comfortable seating areas. I appreciated the thoughtful welcome drink, which added a special touch to my arrival.

I had mixed feelings about my stay at the Harbour Hotel Padstow. On one hand, the restaurant served some delicious meals and the staff was generally friendly. But on the other hand, the room could definitely use some TLC, and the service at the bar was frustratingly slow. Plus, the noise from staff and nearby construction didn’t help the experience.

Rooms
6.0
My room was nicely decorated but clearly dated and not as soundproof as I'd hoped. I dealt with noise from both outside and from staff early in the morning, which really disrupted my sleep.
Service
6.0
While the staff were friendly, the service at breakfast was chaotic. I think they struggled to keep the buffet stocked, and my bar experience was a whole other story, with wait times that made me feel ignored.
Location
7.0
The hotel's location near the busy Padstow centre is great, but I did find myself quite annoyed with the construction work and renovations happening around the hotel.
Dining
7.0
I enjoyed dining at the hotel, especially the birthday dinner we had; the food was quite tasty. However, I noticed slow service affected the flow of our meals. The breakfast was decent but could’ve been better organized.
Facilities
6.0
The hotel has a nice atmosphere, but the amenities could use some work. The broken mini fridge in my room was disappointing, and I wish there had been better information available about accessing facilities like the pool.

I had a mixed experience at the Harbour Hotel Padstow. On the plus side, the room was beautifully decorated with a stunning view and comfortable bedding (the complimentary gin and tonic was a nice touch!). However, I found the hotel atmosphere too clinical and minimalistic, lacking the charm of its predecessor. Also, the seating in public areas was uncomfortable, making it less inviting to relax and unwind.

Rooms
8.0
The room I stayed in was lovely, with great decor and a beautiful view. However, the heating became uncomfortably warm during the night (it kept waking me up).
Service
7.0
The staff were friendly and quickly resolved room issues. However, the initial check-in lacked warmth, which made me feel slightly unwelcome.
Location
9.0
The hotel is excellently situated for exploring Padstow, with fantastic views over the harbour. This location truly elevated my stay.
Dining
7.0
Breakfast was the highlight, with delicious options available. Unfortunately, I felt that dining in the bar lacked the atmosphere of a proper restaurant experience.
Facilities
6.0
While the communal spaces are well-decorated, they unfortunately lacked comfortable seating. This made it challenging to relax in the hotel.
